Data-use rules

PermitScoop data comes from public records. These rules keep its use fair to homeowners and lawful for you.

Allowed

• Direct mail and door-to-door visits offering solar, batteries, roofing or related home-energy services.
• Loading leads into your own CRM for your own sales team.

Not allowed

• Not a consumer report. Don't use PermitScoop data to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or housing (FCRA).
• Reselling, sharing or publishing the lists.
• Calling or texting homeowners without your own lawful basis. We don't supply phone numbers; if you obtain them elsewhere, TCPA, FTSA and Do-Not-Call compliance is yours.
• Harassment, or contacting a homeowner who has asked you to stop.

Homeowner opt-out

If a homeowner asks to be removed, tell us and we'll suppress the property for all customers.
